Poem
The Wheel turns, steady and true, Carrying us with every hue. Through long dark nights and endless dawns, The dance of seasons, it pulls us on. Yule whispers in the quiet cold, A flicker of warmth as stories are told. The longest night, but we hold tight, To the promise of light in the coming fight. Imbolc stirs with a fire that’s soft, Brigid’s glow, a flame aloft. The earth rests beneath winter’s breath, Yet there’s a quiet stirring, life after death. Ostara walks in balance, sweet, Night and day in a silent beat. Eggs and blooms in the morning light, A world awakening, soft and bright. Beltane burns with fierce desire, Dancing shadows, flames higher. Life unfolds in every kiss, A celebration of love, of wild bliss. Litha, the sun in its prime, Days that stretch, a song, a rhyme. Fires crackle and wild things grow, As we bask in the warm, golden glow. Lammas hums with harvest sound, Grains in hand, life all around. We take what’s given, with open heart, Grateful for what the earth imparts. Mabon pulls us to balance again, Day and night meet, and we begin, To give thanks for the fruits we’ve gained, To honor the cycle, never in vain. Samhain calls, the veil grows thin, Spirits speak of where we’ve been. The fire flickers, shadows dance, A time to remember, to take our chance. But it’s not just here where the wheel spins, In every corner, the light still grins. Diwali’s light breaks through the dark, Holi’s colors leave their mark. Obon guides the souls that roam, Shinto’s whispers, calling home. Across the earth, the sacred sings, In every heart, a new light springs. The wheel is endless, the dance is wide, With every turn, we learn to glide. From ancient fires to modern ways, We honor the cycles of our days. So let’s celebrate the dark and light, The quiet moments, the roaring fight. In every season, in every prayer, We find our place, we’re always there.
