Wonder of wonders, He came to each of us – to silence the demons, to put to death the fear, the remind us that His love can overcome the worst that is – by poet

While the echo of my heart, 
	Beats in rhythms of joy, small yearnings
Blowing through the warmth of each thought,
Blessing my soul with a sense of ‘just knowing’…
	Because He came and died and rose again, I have been found.

By the One who called the seas to tremble,
	The One who sought me, even though I’m so wicked,
		He never forgot me, even though I’m such a sinner,…

Although I was lost then, He erased the darkness of my fears,
	Destroyed the doubts, the worries, the tears,
With a promise of love that would forever keep me in peace,
Love that would silence every doubt, every fear, all the emotions
Who told me to give up and give in, to forget the promise He wrote
In His book…. When He signed my name, where I needed no fame,
Where – even though I was to blame, He paid the price….

While the shadows fade from my spirit,
	Leaving assurance that there is love so gentle,
		Love so alive and worth more than I can confide…

Love this sure, is love that was born when He died,
	When He paid the ultimate price, laying down His life,
		So that I might find, the reason for His sacrifice,
			The love that never lies, love that is forever alive…

And, even though I’ve grieved,
	Knowing what it means to feel need,
		I haven’t the slightest doubt that He is near,
			Stilling my heart when I can’t stop the fear,

Reassuring me that – HE IS ALWAYS THERE,
Giving me hope, answering my prayer,
Wiping away my tears and filling me with relief,
Because I know, He is… the forgiver of all my sin,
The promise that – in the end, it is GOD WHO WINS
It is GOD who made a way and it is GOD who has the final say,…

While I might worry and lack in faith, 
He is with me, through the good and bad,
Reminding me that Love is within my grasp
And, He is with me, forgiving my past, taking me back
When I lose my way, when I doubt – don’t pray,
When I can’t truly say… I’m living in such a way,
That He will one day say, “well done”….

I only hope He knows, in my heart, my soul,
I’ve found that, because of His love,
I can make it through this world, make it through this hurt,
Make it through, so when the time comes,
When all is said and done… “you’ve grown into someone…
who God Himself has known – as someone who He’s shown,
Love that continues on and on… forever, in the great beyond…
Forever, you are loved… forever, you are loved”….
Love needs no words, only the wonder of God who is love!
