Reach beyond the wonderful, to the wonder that reveals the answers to our prayers, our reasons, our tears,… the promise of a love that glows from the One above, the One who stills the night and reveals the dawn’s soft light… by poet

You didn’t tell me that I might fail.
Even when there were shadows, your rays 
Lifted the mist, did away with the fears.
Even when the darkness was close to me,
You didn’t let me fall beyond the light’s grasp.
Even when there were rivers of tears,
You whispered hope through the troubling years.

You didn’t tell me that I would face my demons….
Without a fear or worry…
Even when those demons would prevent my peace,
Block the joy and hope, with the blackness of doubt.
Even when those devils would end my heart’s smile,
Destroy the stillness of the light, the joy in just trying.
Even when those fiends reached into my soul’s desires,
Spoiling the music of kindness and grace, the light’s favor…
You didn’t make me feel like I was so very weak,
Even when the truth would agree… I was weak 
But I gained strength in knowing that YOU were there,
Always with me, the melody in each prayer,
The assurance that this love, so sincere….
Would always make a way, overcome the dark, still the worries
And leave me feeling that I would surely see…

This love that is love beyond my wildest dreams
This love is love that teaches me to believe
This love is love that seeks and finds and completes
This love is love that destroys pursuing griefs
This love is love that silences the darkest shadows
This love is love that only God could have begot
This love is love that only the heart could have sought
This love is love that assures me, every thought….
Attends my soul, my hope – the reason that I know Him
As the light of my life, the wonder of my heart,
The music in my song…. This love goes on and on!
