“Buyers Remorse, Karma Deserved” Many voters are regretting their voting choice Realizing they have stymied their voice The voters on the right side of history Will not join in their misery Empathy will not be shared, nor will we gloat Karma will be served is our hope Their pride, ignorance and arrogance will be swallowed Devastating circumstances of pain shall be followed What a bewildering and unfathomable episode The error of their ways will reach a crossroad Racism, hatred, misogyny, sexism were the drivers Still cynical with no regard for being wiser Seventy five million voters are still clueless Not realizing the effect for them will not be painless Displaying a callous attitude won’t make you blameless Only shows that your intentions were tactless Your tumultuous efforts forced upon a people of reason Your thoughtless actions were a kin to treason If you think that the retribution will leave you unscathed You should be ashamed of how you have behaved Families, friends and neighbors in fractured relationships Stupidity and silliness has created desperate hardships Families are bound to be deported They will not be supported Now you all are having buyers remorse As some women are considering divorce Ask yourselves if your vote was worth the trouble Now it’s to late to be humble Many of us are not here to rub salt in your wounds Simply trying to understand your attitudes You cast your vote knowing the repercussions Feeling sick and having convulsions Yes, you’re feeling bamboozled and betrayed The hurt coming to the nation won’t be delayed Yes you showed the Liberals your rage Be assured that we won’t embark on a rampage Votes were cast from a perch of being selfish Not realizing that your actions will only diminish You really didn’t care about the total impact Your voices are closed, but you can’t retract Us, reasonable people could see the writing on the wall Yet your non-consideration has placed the country in a free fall People are scared, nervous, anxious, desperate and afraid The changing of the guard was certainly not an upgrade There’s no sympathy for those crying a river of tears The rest of us are contemplating our fears We could be celebrating your mistakes with cheers But instead we will be crushed for years Viewing these nightmare Cabinet selections We will never see any introspections The unshakeable conscious of some was a tragedy Serving us up to a harsh brutality We feel that our freedom has been stolen Reasonable people will not wallow in glee, we have spoken It’s easy to play the blame game as a distraction Your vote was clear to the nation, but there will be no redaction Get ready to feel the blistering and agonizing pain Much to late to say that you abstain I know you thought, never will we be touched But you guaranteed that the rest of us will be crushed You all voted for unchecked corruption Unleashing a massive cache of obstruction We all are about to face unknown challenges The arms of Government will forego balances As we prepare ourselves to observe Buyers Remorse, Karma Deserved Authored by: Floyd Neal November 15, 2024 Inspiration: Sadness and Contempt
