Poem
In corners of the world, where rays smile bright, There are furry friends, speaking souls in the light. Cats that prance and dogs that bark, In every heartbeat, they wait for us with a spark. Dogs with a shining longing, With paws whirling on the gleaming asphalt, Carriers of joy, in each joyful leap, Turning sadness into smiles that soar deep. Cats with shadowy steps, mysterious and mild, In every caress, a hidden magic compiled. They slip through dreams, with their silky fur, Strengthening the bond that no one can deter. Fish in aquariums, with colors of a rainbow, Swim through thoughts, in waters clear and aglow, An underwater world, where time feels slow, Enhancing our mood with their charm in tow. Cheerful parrots, with toy-like voices, Spreading joy with every chirp, making choices. They share their secrets in free-spirited flight, Turning each day into a fresh start, so bright. And the rabbits, with their fluffy coats, Are bundles of happiness in every home that floats. With ears in the wind and eyes that gleam, They bring a ray of sunshine to those who dream. When we settle on the couch of dreams, We embrace a gift, shining in their beams. With every gesture, with every inquiry, Our companions fill our souls with sweet serenity. But in shelters, the animals wait, Looking with hope in their longing state. For each of them holds a true tale, A soul seeking love, a home, or a sail. Dogs and cats, with scars and wounds, Witnesses of suffering, yet goodwill attunes. They wait patiently for hands to extend, Offering life to fulfill their wishes, to mend. When man no longer needs, he lets them roam, Wandering the streets, seeking a home. With fur all ruffled and eyes full of gloom, These souls need a path, a new bloom. In every bark, a message lies, A call for compassion, a wish for the skies. To no longer be lonely, to step out of the shade, To feel the love, to live a new escapade. Therapy dogs, with their gentle grace, Share love in hospitals, a warm embrace. They are angels in fur, bringing a thrill, Helping people heal, soothing the will. Cats, with their calm presence near, Spread tranquility in troubled hearts here. Elixirs for souls in dramatic nights, Silent friends in complicated sights. Adoption is the key, a gesture so bold, Let’s open our hearts, giving chances untold. Every animal deserves a place, a crew, A life filled with joy, a fresh start anew. So let’s open our hearts and the door to the sun, By offering shelter, we learn to love, and to run. Every soul deserves a world of dreaming, Let’s unite our forces, in a field of gleaming. Let’s open our hearts and the door with love, Offering shelter, learning to treasure from above. Every soul deserves a tale of reunion, Let’s join our strengths, be their sublime communion.
