Writing joy, over the skies
in gentle glitter, starry stories
erasing the darkness, clearing the way
for the music of serenity, 
the blessings of His grace,
the secrets of an intimacy…
with the One who writes the poetry
beneath the autumn’s light,
beyond the mountain’s high,
beginning with twilight sighs…

writing hope, over the summer seas
in beautiful promises, 
imaginations at ease – sensing
all the wonders, flowing, such peace
breathless silence, 
tantalizing winds, dancing on dandelion seeds
pouring out hopes and dreams,
forever wild, like the melodies, colored
in fiery passions, trembling with rhythms,
healing the shames, forgetting to blame
while the laughter delights
in mystery’s flames…

writing anthologies of moments,
surreal, like the blessings who unfold
beneath wings of mercy,
sighs who remember why
every heart is kindled with hope,
where only the memories are told
beyond the prayers, in praises
sung by hearts who hear Him
in the leaves, the reflections, the divinity
hushing the heartbreak,
making light from darkest fates,
destroying the leftover silhouettes
moments before the heart knew Him,
the One who grows light through the spirit…

writing plans, purpose
through the weary trails,
echoing light through grief,
discarding the world’s disbelief,
remaking the stories, with faith,
amazing – such kindness,
such grace, abiding in the heart
who senses His story
truth like no other can say,
He is light, He is hope, He is grace
He is the One who always makes a way
through eternity, throughout always
He will stay and He will say…

writing love on the spirit,
souls know what it is to grow
beyond the shadows, 
the faded shame, the disgrace,
with a sense of what it is
to believe, to believe, to believe
HE IS… HE IS everything to me….

Jesus knows and He sees…
and, yes, oh yes…

I truly believe – He is the reason I can see
what love writes when I simply agree
to let His pen wipe away my ink,
pour into me the love that comes through His presence,
His gift to me… love that is sweeter than honey,
love that is worth more than money
love that is alive – He is worthy – so very worthy!

I love how Jesus keeps writing my story,
long after I’ve decided I’m so very unworthy…
He just keeps writing, the words flowing
writing more hope that I could have hoped for,
more faith than I could have believed,
more joy and peace than I could have breathed,
more love than even my soul could have penned…

with Jesus, the light within – sparkles and glows
showing the whole world what it means to know
the One whose love is writing the story for my soul!
