Poem

I woke up this morning to a Nice Surprise.
On Poetry Soup, I couldn't believe my eyes.
My Kitty Rusty became a Super Star.
Thanks to Poet Robert Gorelick's, Kindred Heart.

Robert and Beryl Edmunds wrote two Poems.
About our cat Rusty, and how we found him. 
Their great Poetry amazed my wife and I.
Can you hear us clapping for these awesome guys?

Rusty was a little guy left on his own.
He broke our hearts, knowing that he had no home.
His hunger pains, we couldn't bear to hear each day.
Immediately we rescued, this hungry stray.

He brings us much joy every single day.
We bought him  toys, and wow, how he loves to play.
Our Rough Collie Tavi, enjoys his new friend.
They play together, and the fun never ends.

 








My wife Judy and I got a great surprise this
morning. Our own Robert Gorelick and
Beryl Edmunds collaborated and wrote two
wonderful poems on a feral kitty cat I found 
outside our front door in the yard. We took him
in and Named him Rusty. I want to thank Robert
and Beryl for their act of Kindness. Writing two
Poems about Rusty's plight.
They both care for the welfare of these precious
animals that need a home. If you see a feral
Kitty please consider taking them off the street
they will certainly bring joy to your life and you
would be helping a stray in need. Also I want to
share that Robert has written a book DOGGY
LIMERICK CIRCUS found at Amazon. Please
