Sitting here in the shadows while trying to contemplate what you are to me is a challenge
More so, whether I am pontificating what I am to you as you have gone silent.
In the past, I wanted to take you out on a date when you would deny me.
At the time, I was healing from the past with a crushed heart, so your words only went with them.

I see the shadows of my past coming to me and relaying the information of what was going on.
The shadows see everything and can let me know what was in your heart at the time.
The  decision was not of your mother’s as she never had anything against me
At least, that is what I perceived; however, the shadows tell a different story.

Since we first met, I have been drawn to you for an odd reason. 
We discussed many topics and would hang out together daily while in school.
We walked home together even when you could use your bike to leave me.
Building our time together finally came to fruition; however, your denial was shocking.

Years later while we were in class you would mention that you had a boyfriend
To myself I believed that you were full of ; however, I had no interest in you
You were just a friend and nothing more. Deny the Virgo once and do not expect to get another chance
10 years later, you have finally decided to come and ask me for more
You gave me kisses that were deceit and expected me to respond more by reading your intent
I knew of your intent before you made your moves.
You spoke of your past boyfriends and even posted about one who was the closest that you had to a boyfriend. 
So am I to believe that I am the rebound since his death? 
I do not believe in your words, as you never mentioned being happy or indicating it through messages and social media!
The shadows tell me your family believed you were better than me!
Well, the truth is that you are beneath me as you have not strived for a better career and are not motivated to become more than a person in a child’s mind.

As a friend, I said I love you; however, I cannot give you any love beyond that.
My heart is not yours, as you rejected it when I needed you the most (twice)
All you want is to reap the rewards when I have the bridge and house built
The shadows whisper of a life being unfulfilled 

If at all I am is to be a rebound for you and not a primary choice, then I do not want to procreate with you, and I do not want you.u are not by my side and only want to give me deceit!
I have miles to go before I sleep.
