Poem
into the depths of the bell jar In quiet solitude on an autumn night i drifted through a quotidian quagmire. fleeting thoughts of stillness sparked a quest for transcendence in moments evanescent. the noumenal world beckoned yet slipped away as i fumbled through a phenomenological haze. my mind more vast than the sky contemplated infinity stumbled on the nigh. in solitude found both peace and despair a paradoxical dance where creation meets air. the empty eye through penelope's deceit revealed wisdom in our mortal conceit. walden's sanctity of simplicity one crisp autumn morn i fled the city's clamor retreating to a forest with trees of grandeur. a babbling brook's lapping water soothed my soul nature's apothecary offered sweet control. in interstitial spaces of consciousness i glimpsed the ineffable then lost its face. pine-scented air filled my lungs filtered sunlight warmed my skin among. i contemplated life's absurd truths accepting the useless therein lies the roots It vanished leaving me with a sense of longing and incompleteness immense self-reliance oversoul by the flickering campfire shadows danced as I pondered self-reliance entranced. the oversoul permeates the ether uniting disparate souls in harmony neither. through self-reliance i touched divinity yet in unity i found my identity. a delicate balance emerged individualism and interconnectedness converged. the path to enlightenment paved with doubt led to wisdom in the shallows devout like a gnat caught in gusts i was both part of something greater uniquely betrothed. coda the transcendental paradox In existence's crucible paradox found bell jar's light walden's chaos profound. the universe cruel and kind fragments and unites as we remain whole yet apart in sights. we must accept the abyss while reaching for depths for in contradiction truth takes its steps. life's ephemeral epiphanies though slight reveal eternity in fleeting instants' light. gazing at stars i felt peace and wonder my small existence both insignificant and asunder. within this eternal paradox this timeless riddle at the intersection of infinite possibilities a middle i found life's beauty and meaning as ancient sages proclaim Imago Dei Redeeming.
