Poem
When all the stars from Heaven fell to Earth, a light was quelled beneath the mantled dawn. The aftermath lent anger in rebirth when apathy was scorched by Nippon brawn. A swift emergence reckoned in retort by orchestrating strength to rise as one. In magnitude, a Nation would consort collectively, avenging what was done. The fervor spires to stir a Nation’s zeal, but grievous wounds impaired Pacific’s Pearl, though vigor reared, intent to swiftly heal, illusions of conspiracy unfurl. As solace panders, watching war pass by, the rising Sun set fire to the sky. The rising Sun set fire to the sky and left your western flank unfit for war. Amidst the flames, all readied to defy the unprovoked assaults upon your shore. Though vigilant, anxiety consumed the press then stained each page in yellow dread. Envisioned raids and mayhem were assumed as fallacy of propaganda spread. But panic waned and substance filled the space to reinforce your devastated fleet, for such a blow was not the “coup de grace” and unity would rise above defeat. And though a rising Sun had scorched the Earth, a wounded foe has risen from the dearth. A wounded foe has risen from the dearth as vengeance aimed to decimate once more. And while you surged thus, seeking a rebirth, the Nippon fleet pursued its prey once more. Your floating nests, at sea when Hell arrived, were tempted by your adversary’s lure. ‘Twas but a tactic, secretly contrived, endeavoring to draw them from their moor. But eyes and ears had sensed the covert ploy and all your brass prepared for war’s reprise. Your tattered ships were readied to deploy thus, knowing in advance the furtive guise. The vagaries of war shall amplify with retribution pending in reply. With retribution pending in reply and festive vengeance brewing in the cask, from solace grace to raging battle cry, retaliation rallied to the task. Relentless fervor fueled a Nation’s drive to rear in ire and smite its furtive foe. A course was set to rapidly revive the tepid force that bore the grievous blow. To galvanize against the Nippon gun, a Nation bolstered earnestly in zest. As perseverance soars into Sun, let not your aim be blinded in its quest. When anxious currents churned at morning bells, though seas were calm, all tethered to the swells. Though seas were calm, all tethered to the swells as silence sailed discreetly in pursuit. The stealth barrage maneuvered ‘neath the veils of corset clouds that hid the mighty brute. With confidence, an ego ventured forth to once again outwit its callow prey. A plot to lure it westwardly due north was but a ploy the east had set in play. But unaware it faltered in deceit as compromise infused the grand charade, a hunt ensued to reach the Nippon fleet and snare it in the cunning trap it laid. Though unbeknownst, no longer could it hide as frothing wakes unveil a racing tide.
