Poem
Richard was quiet this morning..He sat listening to the Part of the world around him, there was thd odd bird Call the muted ticking of the clock in the hall, he looked A the dark t v screen, that he had turned off in 2021' mind You a lot had.! He reccolected on his resignation of over a month ago now.? Fifty was not that young yet he still had A lot to give.' He had always wanted to be of use when he Was growing up..He had thought of being a fireman? Yet He'd joined the police.' And it had been good he'd started Young in the late nineteen eightys, and after different posts He'd graivitated to the dog section..He'd worked at Coney Hall near West Wickham, and met so many people he'd worked with secret services of the U K, the U S, Egypt the mossad.' Yet it all had changed' He reflected the change became Noticable late 90s?? And it kept picking up through the 2000s or the naughties? As some called them and he had Served well he decided finishing up inspector.. But the Turning point came with the southport murders.' And Attempted.? Yet the news had never really concentrated on That part.? And the word killing' seened more the buzz word?? And then the week after at the downing st protests he Did not give the orders to deploy riot police on the uk citizens, yet they were out first choice, and the detaining Of just bystanders.' The pushing and barging with shields To provoke a response?? He would have none of it.' He Recalled the old coppers and the yarns..When trouble had Brewed in their day, they would try and discuss.' one had Told him of some times.! 'He had taken off the uniform' when a Large group of Gypsies moved onto a recreation ground The officer had on his patch.!! this was in the seventies mind you He took on their leader.'l in a fist fight the looser would have To back down.' As it turned out neither prevailed and cuts And bruises were given; and taken' the upshot was the Officer put them in touch with a local farmer he knew and they moved off the rec gound, the local people were happy And both the officer and the leader respected each other But it was not like that now' it was no room for human error Well that was the line.' Yet there were errors galore.! there Is a king who was not a comitted Christian an archbishop Who removed the word Church from his lexicon'p plans to Create citys you would be trapped in, while allowing free Movement.? Was that oxymoronic or what? No.' Richard Baron Would have no more part in mugging off the peoole.' He Had decided what to do.' He would had begun to reach out to other ex officers and retired barristers and it was decided to go in groups to the court houses recording Devices with them, and offer to accompany those who were Intimidated or downright predjudiced against into court to Record court actions, and support them as a source of Moral and practicable advice, to ensure some sort of parity within the System.!
