Poem
Poetry walks over the spirit who hears, Joy in wonders, blessings, joys who breath Music of the night, reflecting autumn peace. On winds of gentling sincerity, a word, Promising to clear the way for God’s hope To melt away the fears, the tears, the hurt. Praises dance through the flow of a prayer, Secreted in hearts who are meant to share, Life, love, lessons in what brings us purpose. Gentle leaves, falling between shafts of sunlight, Glistening impressions of what it means to smile, With a sincerity that blends into the forest’s sigh. Poetry embraces all the aching rusts and gingers, Warming the soul with shedding leaves, remembering What it means to breath, free as the whispering breeze. Autumn knows me, like the stars know the moon, Revealing what it is to believe, what it is to see through The night skies, the alibis of a distant sun who won’t be outdone. Laughing streams and guilty carpets of moss, Seeking that clear, cool wisdom of autumn’s truths, Embracing the heart who hears God’s peace passing through… Destined for the majesty of a forest’s strength, Enveloped by the gladness of oaks, maples and all those dreams, Sought by the jaded gestures of a pine who contemplates the mysteries of autumn’s grace… Mysteries falling, like leaves, rustling carelessly, Stirring the faith, the feelings, the flames so real, Amber and magenta, soundless urge erasing the doubts, Struggling to remember… Autumn, in all her beautiful – graceful and truthful She listens to the tunes of light, falling over the hills, Singing, in the distance, of a life that forever stills… The will, the whisper, the whimsical. Autumn… oh, how she heals As she leaves her signs, her motif Crunching, crackling, swishing Away the past, with all its distress… Knowing God has blessed, oh my… we’re so blessed, so very blessed!
