Poem
In the twilight of thoughts, where shadows whisper the secrets of ideologies, I stand, a prism refracting the multitude of hues of the "isms," Each beam a story of belief, a spectrum of convictions. Socialism, communism, fascism, despotism— Colors blend and clash, painting histories of power and people, Buddhism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism— Beliefs woven into the tapestry of the human spirit, Territorialism, colonialism, imperialism, expansionism— Lines drawn and redrawn in the sands of nations, Positivism, relativism, behaviorism, existentialism— Philosophies spiral in the dance of understanding, Adventurism, escapism, negativism, nihilism— Journeys and retreats in the labyrinth of the soul. In the esoteric stream of consciousness, I wander, A pilgrim on the thread of thoughts, unraveling with each step, A spider's web breaking under the weight of beliefs. Puritanism, fanaticism, extremism, terrorism— Passions ignited in the crucible of fervor, Sexism, chauvinism, ultra-nationalism, jingoism— Walls built from the bricks of prejudice, Hedonism, epicureanism, stoicism, asceticism— The search for pleasure and the renunciation of it, Patriotism, heroism, altruism, idealism— Noble enterprises shining in the twilight of hope, Activism, idealism, individualism, exceptionalism— Voices rising in the chorus of change. In the mystical labyrinth of thoughts, I meditate, A river of "isms" winding through the forests of time, Hypnotism, mysticism, exorcism, surrealism— The boundaries of reality and dream dissolve, Atheism, deism, monotheism, paganism— The search for the divine in the echoes of existence, Optimism, pessimism, cynicism, romanticism— Emotions swirling in the storm of human experience, Atheism, secularism, humanism, utopianism— Visions of a world yet unrealized. And if there were a schism in every "ism"? A fracture in the prism, a divergence in the beam, Would it spread the colors or merge into new spectrums? Would the shadows deepen or the light intensify? In the stream of consciousness, I lose myself, A river of thoughts flowing through epochs, A dance of ideologies in the wind, Until the final breath, the last whisper of "ism" fades, Leaving only the twilight, where shadows whisper secrets, Of beliefs and dreams. Thus, in the twilight of thoughts, I stand, A prism of "isms," refracting the hues of the human spirit, A witness to the dance of faith and the flow of time, In the endless river of consciousness.
