III. Hope is in a New Face Being in a different light, we often see the life we know and ignore the life outside our circle. We met across the lines through a group of finding friends and hopefully a partner. We spoke and were able to see one another through our differences. You are from the East, and I am from the West. Shakespeare would love this story. Our lives and experiences were different as I grew up knowing the Messiah, and I was seeking more answers to my questions. I leaned toward various philosophies and religions and was drawn to Islam. Of all that I learned from an Irish-American professor, this was the one religion that I wanted to know more about. Reading the Qur’an was different for me. It explained so much that I knew there was a gap in my questions. Each chapter broadened my psyche. You were raised with the knowledge of the Prophet and looking to find the man who would show you the blessings of Allah. Of course, the person ended up giving you deceit. I do not mean to make you cry sadness as I only want to see you happy, as I know you would wish me the same. At least in your words, they are full of Hope and encouragement. Each time we speak, it is by 12 hours as we are distant. Still, our words feel closer, as if we were right next door. I have no more fear I understand something clearly at last in your eyes You have heard my voice; can I listen to yours? Friends can communicate; however, a voice is all we need You were afraid to ask me a question that drew the blood and breath of your breast. I could hear your question through the post. It was like hearing the heartbeat of a fearful person. Even my heartbeat started to be in syncopation. Each moment before the response felt like the linked syncopation of a couple. My answer to your response was, “I’ll never take your religion away from you.” In your response, it was of a smile and gratitude. How many men would accept a woman of a different faith? You spoke of your angel starting the next phase of her knowledge. My response was of interest and a compliment to her looking like her mother. I could tell that with your next words that you had to blush. Ho non paura (I have no fear ) Capisco nei tuoi occhi (I understand your eyes) Hai mi voce, Vorrei tuoi (You have my voice; I would like yours) Amici possiamo di communicare; pero, una voce e tutto bisongniamo (Friends can communicate; however, a voice is all we need) Recently, you asked me why I decided to study your belief system; my response was kind. My experience of being around diverse people and learning about them has been a better journey. What are we doing if all we look for is people similar to us to create a meaningful relationship? Being around the same people does not give any reward, as it is useless to think that the same people can give anything new. Even Yeshua stated this. I only heard the negative of the other side until I asked, “Are the people on the other side being given the same information.” I had This question and revelation when I spoke with an English teacher during my senior year. Sitting and reading the 3RD BOOK, I felt more peace than I received. With the constant tides of communication between us, I have discovered a peace leading me to my desired path. At one time, you spoke about how a previous person treated you, and it made me feel pain as I cannot understand why one person would cause another that much pain. The only thing between us, separating us, is the mighty Pacific. You have given me a new Hope to live for and have renewed my spirituality You are my inspiration to continue on the road to peace after surrendering I will make a promise to you Whoever I end up with will never feel what we both felt from our enemy. Having faith is what begins the change of understanding and living a more positive life. Even when doubts arise, we will act in the spirit of Sinatra’s ‘My Way.’ Next, we will have liberty from our past as we have a new purpose: hope. The freedom from the past will make us go through a blessing as we will be blessed. Having these three elements will make the journey an everlasting miracle. When we look back on our Footsteps, we will see two sets. The first set will not be ours, and the second set will be non-existent. The footsteps we see are those from the Divine walking with us and pushing us ahead to move forward. No pillar of salts will we be! The Journey to Hope, Serenity, Bella, and Alegria has begun and can only deepen. Solo la verità, saro di parlare Only the truth, I will speak Buonasera mi amica Goodnight my friend Allah be with us!
