Faith is not an instinct. It certainly is not a feeling - feelings don't help much when you're in the lions' den or hanging on a wooden Cross. Faith is not inferred from the happy way things work. It is an act of will, a choice, based on the unbreakable Word of a God who cannot lie, and who showed us what love and obedience and sacrifice mean, in the person of Jesus Christ. - Elisabeth Elliot Heaven’s tears, in gentle sighs trembling, dewlike gentleness flowing, drenching the spirit notes of amber, melancholic urging the spirit to hear what His love speaks in a voice of twilight murmurings, blessings so still, they vibrate in the thundering rhythmic beauty, swelling inside those who hear His words, softly spoken blessings, promises awakened beautiful affection, growing wisdom and kindness, expressions prayers and praises… Heaven’s tears, walking on the spirit flowing light, soft as the sincerest gentle, abiding in the soul who believes, who sees beyond the present, into the eternal, implications pouring out endless faith, believing so amazed by the faith grace that can never stop giving joy that lives in the sincerity, the soothing touch of peace that agrees with you and me, throughout everlasting breathing truth, forever giving away the words, the meanings, the praise that comes from the knowing He is who He says He is… eternity, in heaven’s tears erasing the doubts, the desperation, the despair, reaching beyond the darkest shadows, into the music that bleeds in notes of endless grace, abiding praise where life never leads to a grave, but to forever with the One who saves saves in a way that only He can save! Heaven’s tears, sing with promises, forever, on the wings of angel, humming light over the edges of the heart, in notes of praise, - yes, He will amaze where He leads, I will follow only the light falls beyond the shadows, erasing the fears, reminding me in prayers, while heaven’s tears sing like a promise that remembers He is there, always, forever, eternally… through the winds, the seas, the broken dreams He remembers me – I am so very thankful He sees and He remembers me, when I can’t pray or say what it is that I need… He is the reason that I know, wherever I go He is there, changing the black to white, the dark to light, the doubt to faith, the fears to grace…. forever, with Him, I’m amazed so very amazed… forever, with Him, I’ll stay – because He saves Yes, HE SAVES!
