You got me feeling oh so distant
I don’t want to be here this instant
You can make your little love moves elsewhere…
Because you’re doing it right in front of me, I swear

Maybe I shouldn’t care
About your prideful flare
You know it all always you assume
Watch me be all alone in my tomb

This distance between us, this distance between us
Got me feeling distant
This deliverance of being thrown under the bus
Got me feeling insignificant
Sorry I’m a single, anguished man,
Not willing to mingle with a woman 
Because I’m not ready for that commitment
Because I’m not ready to feel less resentment
Perhaps, I deserve this loneliness inside
Without anyone here, abiding by my side

You got me feeling so much feels lately
I believe you don’t care enough frankly
You assume I’ll someday find a winsome wife 
In dismay, I’d rather be dead than be alive in this life

Maybe I need more positivity this time forth and forevermore, overwhelmed and neglected
I adore this sorrow within and I want it to the utmost core of my being instead of pretending foolishly and gaily
I’d rather be alone sad than be left behind in another relationship not my own, being highly rejected
I’d gather my luggage of lamentation and be kind to everyone — I need to be untrapped and be set free

I’m fatigued of trying to pretend I’m someone I’m not…maybe, God’s giving me some sort of sign
I’m intrigued that you’re end is his beginning I guess, yet regardless — 
I’m down and about, no doubt, while you are forever feeling fine…I sigh dreamily and speedily shine
I drown in my empathies and spend away my leisure time of lonesome emptiness

God, be with me while I do some numbing, becoming feeling distant and anxious
Overcoming the distance between us
You assume deep down I just fuss and cuss…cuss and fuss…
I want something more than this and stop acting like a wuss
