Poem
REALITY OF THE STREET Bellow of a delinquency Wrapped in the dust of lust To the brim loaded with crust Made its way to the prime lord Who says to the dagger to strike! Will say of the lofty and ridden Loathed by the street; despised Needed a home on the lawn of ooze His heart was kindled to be terrifying Found his way to the lord of the dark Who says to the axe to suck and pierce! Will say of her inn filled with wrath Questioned and jettisoned on a card The query to reason why he was born! Called on her maidens to none cared Watched her mothers breasts sick in wrinkles As his father's yell from afar set the kid on race Birthed on the street to a hard kick Even the red dust dawn! Wanted a taste Who'll ever save the street from jeopardy The street is red on shackle's holds, not comedy On the lifeline of no blood , no glory ; no melody On the bed of woods, where spiders travail To the altar of axe where loggerheads flee Who does not like to sleep on a bed of rose? Yet! Life set its loose from the hem of the street An axe to the dagger to strike in vengeance! Hard on , these grounds so rocky Forthright to the beckon of the weak Let's make it a space to live, survival Such a green light that made all to a truce The way presented; was shown in a picture As life came back to the corridors of the street How long shall abnormally reside with us? To what length shall we move; to be humane? Shall the street be, lit with the light of hope Shall the corners be, free from human rotteness? And the edges be kind to the weak to pass through? To no spite we'll call ourselves human To the cost we can all afford to bare With water and food abundant to share With a shower of love; we'll endure to feel At these ; the society will bloom in blue Gather in the crooks and crannies To the applause of the growth created On the street accepted for all to share The lounging of belonging to same clan Street lucid to accept on a reality of togetherness
