The Truth About Job
Job

On the theme of God knowing it all
He was talking with the Adversary way after the Fall
They seem to be close and made a bet
I have an idea, said Adversary, let’s Job vet.


And so these two, what disasters they’d bring,
If from Job, they took everything.

A wager, a bet. How human this god be
Not knowing whether Job would defy or plea.

But wait, that problem again does arise,
This does not show God as being too wise.

He did not know what Job would think?
Is this a God on the very brink
Of being less than all knowing
And not understanding whether Job would be bowing?

And with all that, at the very end
Job loses all but refuses to bend
His love for this Deity who took away all,
His belief that his God still stood tall.

But wait, there’s more, throughout all this
All Job asked was, “How was I remiss?”

And then the Lord deemed to say
How dare you, Job, question my way?

Where are you when I create?
Can you ocean and storm abate?

As poor an answer as I’ve ever heard.
God has acted like a turd.

He tortured Job on a lark
As a response to the Adversary’s bark.

Apologists will tell you, but God returned it all.
This is a god with tremendous gall.
Killing his children then giving him more,
Still makes God rotten down to His core.

The loss of a child is never relieved
And again, this Deity simply deceived
Job.
