I'll cut you off and not look back 
That's just from having a mindset of lack
I'll ghost you out of my sight
Out of mind and out of life
I'll make sure I don't leave any crumbs
I don't want to end up leaving my presence. 
I don't care how much you say that it hurts
It's better for you and not me to get it first. 
I'll run away so fast
I bet you can't catch up or last
I'll run away so fast
I bet you wish you had met another. 

I'll cut you off and not look back 
That's just my toxic behavior and painful attachments
I'm complicated and still dedicated to the race.
I'll be in the Olympics  at my pace
 Stuffing in that dark side. 
Cover it with immense pride.
I'll never lose my cool.
A painful background made me a fool.
 hold a little girl covered
I felt abandoned by my mother.
I'll cut you off like it is nothing
I'm just a needy, selfish little girl
I people please to my detriment 
I lash out when my needs don't get met

I self-sabotage some big things and let them sit.
That's just my inner child having a fit.
I look inside and say who's in charge.
Now that I'm caught and all tied up 
It's not me, but it's you running in my head

How foolish and hurtful I must have been
I had to face my sin someday

I made the song to the one running and still can't get it right.  It's funny how the darkness manifests something we don't initially recognize. It shows we can be powerful manifesters, even unwillingly,  for our greater good. That gives a profoundly different understanding to it.
