So yall, there are times in my life where I can reflect back and even now say, “Thank You God for NOT..." Thank You God for NOT letting me get married. There was a time in my life where I was going to get married and I asked God, if this marriage is not meant to be, then don’t let it happen. Well, it didn't happen. To others, it looked like I didn’t get the answer I wanted, but to God (and to me), I got the answer I needed. Thank You God. Thank You God for NOT letting me get that promotion. I am a firm believer of what God has for me is for me. This was not for me. This was someone else’s blessing. God had something different and better in store for me. Thank You God for NOT allowing me to suffer. Thank You God for NOT letting this situation break me. Thank You God for NOT letting him come over that night. So yall, there was a time (years ago) when my male friend said he was on his way and didn’t come. (That could have been a night where I could have gotten pregnant, got a disease or he could have been in an accident, or it could have been a “good” night, but who knows?) I still thank God to this day. Also yall, if someone says they are coming and don’t come, don’t be mad and start fussing and call them saying, “Why you didn’t come, I thought you were on your way, you wrong for not coming…” Just remember to “thank God,” for God knows all and sees all. Thank You God for NOT allowing me to cause an accident when I was texting and driving. Yall, if you know better, do better. Do not text and drive. It can wait, they can wait, you can wait. Thank You God for NOT “blocking” me. Thank You God for NOT allowing weapons formed against me to prosper. Thank You God for NOT leaving nor forsaking me. Thank You God for NOT allowing the enemy to destroy me. Thank You God for the opened doors, the closed doors and for NOT allowing certain doors to even open in the first place. There are sooo many more NOTS that I can think of that God did not allow to happen. Can you think of some NOTS in your life that God did not allow to happen and be thankful for?
