one of my guardian angels lives with me
disguised as a dog
I keep calling him Blue,
after my husky whom I had for ten years
Blue adored me, as Buddy does now.
Weirdly enough I call my baby Beau dog
“Buddy” which is Buddy’s name, not Blue.
How we got all of these B names going is odd.
I have also had dogs named Barney and Baby.
They are probably all guardian angels,
and I have three of them.
One is Sophie, who already had her name
When she came to live with us.
Twelve years ago.
She was an only child for awhile
so has been doing rather well with
her two brothers, who fake bite, wrestle all over
knocking her, me, and furniture out of the way.
It is nice having guardian angels in the house.
I know Buddy is one, and feel the others might be too.
Buddy is definitely channeling Blue who was my protector.
I feel honored to have known and loved so many dogs.
