Age 15: While in springtime:
            We spent our days in school
But found the time to laugh and play
            And, sometimes bent the rule(s) -
With only childish escapades
            To satisfy our Fool;
But, day by day without delay
Time would renew then fade away.
And, Moments that we held so dear
Now Memories - some faint, some clear.

Age 35: While in summer:
            We raised a family
And planned to make the world our own
            For everyone to see -
With few imperfect harmonies
            To upset what might be;
But, week by week without delay
Time would renew then fade away.
And, Moments that we held so dear
Now Memories - some faint, some clear.

Age 55: While in autumn:
            We settled into age
And as we watched our children grow
            We turned another page -
With firmly planted certainties
            To fortify our sage;
But, month by month without delay
Time would renew then fade away.
And, Moments that we held so dear
Now Memories - some faint, some clear.

Age 75: Now in winter:
            We review all we've seen
And even though mistakes were made
            We'll settle for the cream -
With satisfying sentiments
            To dulcify our dreams;
But, year by year without delay
Time will renew then fade away.
