I’m rising from the ruins 
Tonight, tonight, tonight
Tragedy’s a-brewing
I can’t peaceably fight
I’m riding the turbulent storm
I’m embracing you, so warm
I’m screwing up greatly today
I’m wrecked up lately in dismay

I’m in poverty when it came to loving you so true
Lost it all, lost it all until I noticed without a clue
I’ve been just dust in the breeze, blowing at ease
Cease from calling out to me and being a total tease

I will rise, I will rise, I will rise…love dries and dies
I was once ashes on the gravel and ground
You will see with your two glistening eyes
I was once dust and ruins without a sound
I will rise, I will rise beyond the ruthless lies
Abide by my side and subside from the river of remnants
Let’s go to the evanescent pastures and remember no more of our sins and our spirit eventually repents…

I’ve been just dust in the breeze, blowing until we couldn’t bear it anymore 
The mistiness of sorrows was amongst us nowadays; we now give praise
