Poem
Heartfelt images train my heart to hear, Music flowing with serenity, sensitivity, sincerity Songs of hope who is all knowing – His love, Like a whisper fading from the lips, Evoking mists, soft as the silent glow of moonlight, Blessings poured from the heavens, His love, Stirring melodies of wonder, Alive like the colors of life – scarlet and indigo, Melancholic, in hues of rich truth, Beautiful as the winds of tangerine sunsets, Falling beneath the shadows, Pressing into the sapphire skies, strewn with stars, Risking the nocturnal promises, Who can imagine a more beautiful night? This is the light of a love more alive than the winds, More at peace than the softest sea, More gentle than the autumn leaves who breath In easy sighs, songs like lullabies Quivering images of glowing truths, abide in spirits Who can feel His breathless healing, Lingering in the mountains, laughter like music, Singing to the birds who conspire to duel, With reflections of regret, blush of June, With blossoms who color the meadows, the music With winsome tears, dew dripping at the edge, Of a kindness, His light blessing my soul, With glory untold, glory as bold as the rivers, Serene as the millions of stars, Singing silently in the distance, dancing Dreams who bring hope to the spirit… This light falls like a gentle Only known by the spirit who is His, Blessed with miracles, Wonders more beautiful than the pines, More alive than the gentle lights, Falling through the trees in shafts of grace, Hesitating beyond the silhouettes Oaks, maples, saplings meant to see, Laughing laurels and flickers of mysteries, Lost amid the shades of indigo and scarlet, Emerald seas meant for you and me, Who can see His creativity in the seas and sands, In the mountains, the woods, the breeze, The moments before He sent His greatest gift, The Son who could heal the sick The Son who could still the dread, The Son who could save the lost… The Son who gave all, despite what it cost. Thanks to love, the Son silenced the fear, Washed away the pain, the tears, Poured His light through everyone who agrees, This is love – this One who breathes life into the spirit, This love – it is alive inside those who know Him, The One who poured out so much of Himself, We each know, we each have felt… The overflowing of our cup, with the love that is so much, We’ll never doubt that He is our hope. He is the light that sent our darkest sins into a past, Where we need never look back, Because, with Him, there is the promise of everlasting, Love that never leaves, love that just believes, Love that comes from the grace and faith, That is alive because God made a way – the only way, Sent to those who know that only Jesus saves!
