I, alone, cognizant and coherent
Yet frail and new am I
Many times the size when first was here
Reborn into this unlucky surprise 
No mother to swaddle with affectionate kiss 
No father with pride holding me up to the masses
Oh, To have earned a place and name among
The bone of my bone and blood of my blood
Staggering, naked, a reflection I seek
This question to answer, who am I, to see
Dark tresses like silk, along a straight spine 
Follow the shape, look into my brown eyes
This stranger before me will not be revealed
Seeing this form, yet in the dark still
Shadows oppress me, push, pull, and blow
The wind of their presence unlocking to know
In flashes the light peaks through in between
The darkness and shadows that aim to hide me
The vision is black, my image concealed
Yet now the light sparks inside, I am revealed...

She is weary but she fights
She is overwhelmed with the night
She is seeking for truth
Holding on, so much to lose
She is bitter but she's kind
She is scared all the time
She forgives gratefully
Trying so hard to be everything
She gives more than she takes
She will lie for your sake
She's not proud of herself
Sometimes wants to be someone else
She falls down, then rises up
She gives all when she loves
She wants to be left alone
But wants someone to hold

The good and the bad, the right and the wrong, at war in her heart, She'll keep singing her song.
