Poem
The picture faded like the past she made. Embers crumbled in the flames. Smoke curled above the empty photograph in a smoldering state She grasped for the present but the flames burned her thoughts as she recalled the date Her mind was racing with prolific confusions she tried to displace.tears welled in her eyes and fell like rain. Hopelessness and fear clouded her Mind in an open book she reserved for places she envisioned. encompassed her like at tight hug.the stench of smoke clouded her brain like foggy higway to the sky.she recalled a time broken and jaded a spade of a dagger pierced the space where her thoughts once dwelled.dead spiritsi in pictures she imagined nothing but shades of gray hues. The remains of a corpse burned an image in her memories.in the midst of pain her scorched her body with the shadow of death she imagined.brick by brick stone by stone the fire in her heart scorthed the wall around her darkest fears captivated a wall she built and down in her hear tshe felt loney. The fallen water. Cleansed a lingering cloud of darkness. Words she whispered slammed up against her body rain fell off her lips . The water slowly poured vivacious. Broken bricks fallen stones. History continued to migrate memories that turned into ashes.clouds drifted above reels kept turning images in her mind. Ashes laid smoldering. Until they eventually died. Memories told a secret she hid in the darkest parts of her mind. The paper illustrated pictures and stories of glass houses. Crows hovered as her broken spirit mirrored charred images of her uncertainty and the face of a stranger broke a barrier she once had In her past. She sifted through thoughts like a racing facet of water. The wind storm dancing. With eyes welled. She found a brick picked it up a brick picked prayed to God that she could rebuild the wallof her dreams snap a new photograph. Splicesplice a better story. She built the wall and a well the capture the waters that ran down her face
