DEAR MR PRESIDENT* Mr President We used to pledge our allegiance to the motor one Zambia one nation we believed the mystery of no sex Before marriage But sex seems to pay for our daily life As our hopes have faded into nothing but empty promises Dear Mr president What has become of our unity? When we now see ourselves as rivals Life has becomes a fatal accident, that leaves our dreams shattered in the highway, Dear mr president Though you promised for a better life, But Yet your people cry in hunger ?? Free education you said . and yes !! we are great full But what is a child without food in the stomach How can our children learn , wen we can barely survive Our roads are a death- traps, Where souls are forced to eternal rest... My heart drips with stream of oceans pain As I look out into the sea from where the winds come from Deep into the heart of a land of Zambia were a mother's and fathers are forced Out to the streets for the batter meant of of our town Yet mealimile price are high ! High like the skyscraper Dear Mr President Sir, Why are some enjoying immunity (as it is known that they have stolen and still dance around) When you claimed to be the champion of corruption. Absence of electricity made us generate our own. Fuel prices keep rising and dropping if its mealimile price we cant even say cause eating has become a thing of the past Even our health is slowly ( deteriorate) Dear Mr president What time will you wake up from your deep slumber The police men are back on the road steeling from the driver's just because they can Dear mr president Just last month's some unknown people were vandalized by bandits just few days ago 2men were burn in the name of mob justice , dear mr president were is the hope for this land of ours Were is the spirit of of being Christians Unknown caders still control parts of lusaka because that's the only way they can sim to cope with this economy We're getting employments it's a matter of connection Even then wen u find employment you still have to pay Just to be employed Dear Mr president With humility my pen bleeds To remind you of your empty manifestos. Free education has left with empty stomach Are you sleeping sir for you to not notice the suffering of the masses. Dear Mr president I am not YOUR political antagonist nor a castigator, But an Infant calling for a better polity. Dear Mr president You people cry in silence For they is little hope in Democratic leaders give them hope so that they can keep going
