Poem
And all the world would change forevermore, for solitude’s content has come undone. Its island bliss could harbor it no more as destiny unleased the rising Sun. The sleeping giant woke to see its rays unfurl their wrath upon its harbor gate. They struck with stealth, setting it ablaze and left the world not knowing of its fate. And as the devil reveled in delight to see the Sun enjoying such a feast, with no resign, he vowed to join the fight and thus, asserted war against the East. Exhilaration glistened in his eye when wings of fire consumed the morning sky. When wings of fire consumed the morning sky a mighty giant rallied to the fight. ‘Twould be a feat no devil could defy for magnitude would far exceed his might. Although the East was blistered by the Sun, the Caucasus of Russia lie ahead. and, Trident’s spear had only just begun to pierce their hopes and leave their fervor dead. And though the beast had sought the Crimson crown, to be denied had left a sour taste, but other grapes hang nearer to the ground and all that tend the vines shall be erased. And as the jaws of genocide expand, ‘tis through God’s grace we’re able to withstand. ‘Tis through God’s grace we’re able to withstand insane commissions of the human mind. We question why but never understand then search for answers that we’ll never find. We scan our thoughts where evil bides within and wonder where inside our goodness dwells. We search in vain for causes of our sin then pray to God divinity prevails. To reason why is but a conscious fault that binds our scruples to a moral heart, where questions why forever will be sought, and never letting clarity impart. Be not dismayed, the answer is at hand as innocence receives the mark of man. As innocence receives the mark of man, the war disguised its mechanized conceit. His darkest angels prowled the Slavic land compiling graves of mass through vile deceit. As legions rolled across the Russian vale, a silent slaughter stalked the countryside. Its aftermath would leave a bloody trail of butchery that could not be denied. And though the world was very much aware, it closed its eyes and looked the other way. ‘Twas better to pretend it wasn’t there than let a guilty conscious have its say. When apathy leaves morals in debate, it caters to an arrogance of hate. It caters to an arrogance of hate to pierce the heart that slays the mighty bear. As Death pursued, intent to decimate, its savage teeth and claws, he failed to snare. The devil sought to slay it in its den as swift assaults endeavored to prevail. But though impaled, the bear would rise again, its battle-weary heart withstood the gale. Conceit had railed then faltered at the door, his Crimson trophy stoic hearts deny, and all the world would change forevermore. when wings of fire consumed the morning sky. ‘Tis through God’s grace we’re able to withstand as innocence receives the mark of man.
