Poem
O beloved chevalier, cloaked in shimmering champagne armor, tonight I long to feel your sultry skin, embroidered with emerald embellishments and twinkling teal topaz, tailored to tempt, veiling these tanned desires. My soul sways to a chained string of softened serenades, where the definitions of this drawn devotion dance amidst dusted darkness. I still remember how you willfully whispered wildflower wishes to my wounded senses, enlightening me with the tainted truth, thawing thick polar ice walls shielding my pale presence. I remain the scintillating silhouette of twin stars you’ve sketched in sunflower silence, across sepia skies above sleepless seas, ferrying sapphire soliloquies. The power of penciled prose reignited flickering fireworks, cosmically reuniting the cashmere chorus of this lilac love. We walked hand in hand, with piercingly pristine poetry, filling the impeccable emptiness, emanating from unspoken poems through the tingling tips of our titillating fingers. I ponder, if the magnolia moon followed the fragrant footprints of our flaming frequency, would Cupid resting on crooning constellations then call this an endless endearment, entwined in an inescapable entanglement? Abandoning glimmering gold to glide into a galactic sphere of garnet glory, tracing our heartbeats’ ricochet to the same radiant rhythm, oblivious to the malicious monologues shadowing us like the cranberry crescent and the tamarind twilight. Now our spirits synchronize a halcyon hymn in hibiscus harmony, forsaking the heinous horizon drenched in hidden hatred, and I have no desire to tame thorns and thistles that may throttle our need to thrive. Some might say blindness has taken its place. Yet, I care not for the somber sight, when senses within can feel the selfless grains of your veracious verses, vibrating the symphony of your soulful sonnets through your saccharine smile. Tonight I seek the amorous amethysts adorning alluring alliterations upon my lyrical lips, sprinkling me with daisy dunes as the deserts rise to great heights, lost in this musical moment, as time sprouts fuchsia fields, even through sullen seasons, when fate finally finds the roseate reason to flourish our pearlescent path. The universe had its ears on the nocturnal nights I’ve spent without you, pleading to the bleak, bruised clouds, awaiting kaleidoscopic kismet to glaze diamond dews upon our destiny. Reality has convinced me that dreams no longer shine brighter, as wrinkled winter now feels like summer, when waltzing next to the hyacinth heart of my bleeding ink. Chaos became a motionless momentum, merely magnified within magical melodies, moving mystical mountains, merged in melodramatic metaphors, bringing your aesthetic aura in ambient tides to rebirth a begonia beginning that has no ending. So, would you be my saintly sinner, as our spirits collide, eternally interlaced in the ethereal infinity of the cosmos? You are the winner of the glistening rays that I’ve seized from the elysian meadows, of your poetic petals... Yours, forever, an etched ambrosial Aphrodite, weaving wonders across the crystalline canvas for a trillion springs more.
