Peace invites the music of the heart,
Poured out, flowing,
Gentle as the stars who’re strewn,
Across the windless night, soft and hesitant,
Dancing delights, playing in shadows,
Curled beneath the moon’s light…

Peace surrounds the soul in grief,
Whispering kisses, 
Erasing the darkest dread,
Soothing away the sound of despair,
Making a way through the forest,
The trees who’re waking,
To color hopes with soundless wishes…

Peace remembers what it believes,
The tears falling,
Silencing the sea, its dreams,
Aching to be written in stories,
Boldly told by those who know life,
With all its dawns, its insights,
Reflecting the grace that abides inside,
Those who swim those seas….

Peace stirs the waters of yesterday’s gentling,
Comforting the spirit,
With light that flows, so sentimental,
Challenging the soul in need,
Rising to meet the heart who beats,
Like a rhythm, a guitar pleads,
For hearts to just believe, the sweet….

Peace is like an ocean of grace, pouring,
From the heart’s second chance,
In melodies, songs, psalms that reflect,
All the wonder of angelic choirs,
All the senses, the prayers and fires,
Softly playing in the colors of a smile,
Lifting souls so they breath…

Peace so alive it surely will agree,
Forever and always,
There are reasons to believe,
Hearts who are beating with grace,
Souls who tremble with sweet praise,
The ache of a need so delighting,
The music that agrees, sunlight and moon,
Forever in the wisdom of the forest’s truth,
Shadows and sounds, peace…

Is the answer to every doubt.
Peace is the reflection of a light,
Who bleeds joy, faith and hope,
A light who softly glows…
With the warmth, the passion, the soul…
Bought by love, love from God above,
Through His Son… the only peace known,
By those who He has shown…

The way to peace, the way through pain,
The way where a heart has so much to gain.
The way through the storm and rain…
The way He made when He arose from the grave.
The way we take when we pray…
Meeting Him and remembering that He is the way…
Yes, oh yes… He is the only way!
