A look, a smile, a gesture
Memories, soft reflections
From the heart who knows
This is special… 

This look – it is filled with kindness,
This smile – it quiets the worst anxiety,
This gesture – brings hope to the impossible…
Soothing the spirit, bringing joy to the senses,
Revealing light that removes each shadow,
With a feeling of peace that overflows with love…

This is special, this look, this smile, this gesture,
Moments who burn joy into the spirit,
Silence the fears and wash away each tear,
With affection, in the singsong prayers, 
Prayed from hearts who know love that will last,
Love – the simple proof that there is yet…

More to see, more to be, more to agree,
Love this beautiful, is beyond what we can explain.
It is a love – in simplicity that only God above,
Can move the spirit to realize… is more amazing,
More astounding, more alive and willing to satisfy…

The simplest thing we will ever know…
Is the joy that comes from letting go, letting God,
Have His way… 

So we can experience the wonder of this day, 
The wonder of His grace, the music in gentlest praise,
Feelings that fall like the morning dew,
Remembering that love, so sweet and pure,
Is the simplest thing, yet the most magnificent…
It is the breathless prayer, the moment to share,
The reason I care…

When one heart meets another and realizes, there is more love…
In Simple Things

A look, a smile, a gesture
Memories, soft reflections
From the heart who knows
This is special… 

This is God’s blessing poured out on the soul,
Who know He is love – He is hope – He is the One…
Who came back from the grave to save…
And, it is the most simple thing I know of…
To just believe – He is the reason I can see –
Through the shadows, through the doubt, through the fear
That tempts me to forget – 

He is the way, the truth, the life…
Because He lives… I have eternal life.
Because He lives… I have a love that abides.
Because He lives… I have a simple assurance that His love,
Love sent from God above… is all I’ll ever have need of.

Because He lives… there is one simple truth.
He changed my life with His sacrifice.
He taught me that love is the light…
	Who prepares me to face the night,
		Glowing with joy that is mine…

Because, it is simple… grace that is God’s gift to those…
Who know Him as love, that He’s sent from above,
To reach through the past and give us a hope that will last!

With every part of my heart … I am love bought…
Yet, on second thought, I am the lost sheep He sought!
