Poem
5/6/24 I got to grind All the time In order to rise As it coincides and goes with time An ode that's signed With an open mind Looking at it from both sides Otherwise I'll just nosedive If I fuss and whine When there's still much to find The world hospitable for some, to others it wasn't kind May not notice when your young yet blind When your an adult, it can hit you from all sides Changing the whole vibe Might seem all good and fine But realize, just like animals not all are nice Don't get caught up and fall behind Keep your eyes On the prize They'll attempt to fool with a concept of pie Staying down to Earth, can't have an ego that's sky high Stuck in cloud nine Claiming the fault is never mine Yet it is at times Putting all B.S. aside More determination and effort applied I'll get nowhere if I never try Don't need to ask "WHY?" I can't quite describe The process behind All the intricate designs The bees out to pollinize Close and far from copper mines With rocks having lifeforms that got fossilized Exposure to oxygen, causes foods to oxidize Sad how many dropped like flies From rockslides Or due to no compromise Too much loss of life Some will say it's the cost and price What to expect if you're constantly disinclined? Maybe you thought it would be different this time You can take it all for what it is or in stride Does little good to always hide Have some pride Stop letting foolish things slide Speak up, have a spine From the truth, quit being the one who shied No matter whether they had it coming for being snide Away from or nearby the tide Do your best to enjoy the ride Soar and glide Don't be afraid to reach new heights, go climb Quit telling white lies As the light shines All the way until it's night time My my How time flies Before you know it, it's all bye bye Not sure if we were able to, but the planets can align With people, it's like we're still in the sand and there's a line Always being drawn out, one never ending divide For too long he was denied By Jesus I abide I was looking at it wrong, but he helped guide When I was bugging out feeling empty inside Another lost soul swept out to tide I could just never be satisfied I've Spent all kinds Of dollar signs And time Getting fried Certain things you can't take back or buy Too much swine Yet I've no need to leave them out to dry Among the pines With the wolves and flies Nothing left as far as a trace or sign For now I just wanted to drop a little rhyme Shout out to Juice, Mr. Triple 9
