In you my God I trust
I shall never suffer the shame of defeat
My enemies shall never gloat over me
Cause you are my shield and armour
I shall  never rebel against you
Reveal more to me your ways oh Lord
So that I do not stray from your path
For I trust in you my God
Lord you have always been kind to me
Your constant love has always been my compass
Forgive me Lord for occasionally straying from your path 
As all mortals sometimes do
Teach me again for I am a sinner
The path I should follow 
For you are a just and righteous God
You lead the humble in the right way
And teach them your will
And with faithfulness and love
You lead aright those who keep and obey your commands
Keep your promise lord and forgive me my uncountable sins
I acknowledge that those who have reverence for the Lord 
Would always be guided on the path to follow 
To prosperity and their children would possess the land
You are  a friend to those who obey you 
And affirms your covenant with them
I look up to you Lord perpetually 
And you rescue me from all danger
Turn to me Lord and show me mercy 
For I am lonely and weak
Relieve me of my worries 
And save me from all my troubles 
Lord consider my distress and suffering 
And forgive me all my sins 
You know I have many enemies 
You know how they hate me
Protect me Lord and save me from defeat
I run to you for safety 
May my goodness and honesty preserve me
Cause I put my trust in you 
O God save me from all my troubles!
