May I See The God In You The God I love and doth believe, Who raised Christ from the dead Creator embodied Son of God, Humbly surrendered to death, and hung His head. The God I personally deliver His message That you are loved, and forgiven of sin, Your name is written in the Lamb's book of Life Just say yes, and let the Savior in. The God of yesterday and today Spared not His only Son, For love gave the ultimate sacrifice, That none be lost, no not one! Have I been tried and judged, berailed with with scorn, With intent to destroy my light? Satan will use whomever will allow him, It is not against flesh and blood I fight! You who have made this world your God, And feel empowered to do what you do, If I could ask for anything less, would be to see the One True God in you. The God of compassion, than of judgement, Than the one accusing and finding fault. The God of forbearance, and forgiveness, than against each other having ought. The God who hears our conversations, Knows us every square and root, Yet still chases after our devotion and love, For it is for our love that He is in pursuit. Everything I have ever desired in life, has come to just a few, There's nothing more vital than this one thing, as there is nothing under the sun that's new. That if I may see the God you wish to see in me, In overcoming victories you feel are overdue, May I see the faith you judge is absent, By the faith of God in you. May I see His love, that you desire to see in me, as the only proof He's truly there, Than be judged that because of my misfortunes, That for me He neither loves nor care. May I see the God in you, the One empowering my faith to believe, His love for me is greater than even you, Or I could possibly conceive.
