Poem
There is the presence of grace, the presence of faith, the presence of God, In the flowers, the rain, the beauty, the pain, all over the night… Where light doesn’t fade, because His love made a way through the ache, His love sighed in shades of grace, forever silencing the shadows in the rain. Rhythms of hope, feelings who whisper laughter and praise, promises, Songs that won’t let go of the stirrings, the wonder, the wonderful… Hidden away in the spirit who can see beyond the storms, the shame, the darkness, The feelings that imagine what we’ve seen is more than just a dream, A burning sense of peace, the stillness in a heart who sincerely believes, In the heavens, where He is… there is light that survives the clouds, Light that stirs the sincerity of a moment when joy leaves its home, To fulfill the twilight’s endless journey through the hope that comes to life, Inside those who know Him, the One who grows love… With His gentle love, His grace, His abiding hope, The miracle of the light who stills the dark, leaves an imprint of insight, Rhythmic as the poetic thought, beautiful like the trembling smile, A miracle that sees through the dark, into the naked heart, The breathless joy that comes to life inside those who know Him, The love that is eternally alive, always enduring, forever a fire Poured out in the spirit who can feel His music playing faintly, In the depths of the one who believes He is – the King of Kings, The Maker of dreams, the soul’s sincerity, the heart’s redeemer, The One who kindles strength in those who feel so weak and faint, Drained of all the power they once felt - bold and sure, A power that He can resurrect, even when the heart feels shaky and limp… With love that only God could have stirred, Jesus became the lamb, Sacrificed for those who will never truly understand… Just how amazing His grace is – just how much praise He is worthy of, Just how wonderful is the love that flows, from the hope that He gave us, When He died and arose, restoring the worst of us to a God… Who wanted us even though we’re nothing more than errant hands, Who deserve the death, the darkness, the rejection that would be ours, If the Savoir hadn’t offered His life to save those who had no chance. Because He lives – we have been given a new life, a new inkling… Of what it means to hear the love that flows beneath His forgiveness, The beautiful that never fades, but blesses and finds a way, Through the fears, the tears, the feelings that bleed whispers of doubt, Feelings so honest, so genuine, so comforting… Blazing across eternity, where He waits, in the calming winds, Coloring the heart with a gentle that conceals the yearnings, Softly singing to the twilight, assuring the spirit that life begins IT BEGINS, when it ends,… when it ends, life begins!
