Poem
The sun is shining in the east with petals opening bright, spreading its fragrance into the light and an epiphany of hope resting on the branches swinging from limb to limb while my heart entertains a holy hymn. The bees are flying around sucking sweet juice out of the sycamore tree in the corner of the town, and the mulberry tree with its abundance of wild fruits hanging from laden branches nourishes the black birds as they suck the succulent juice with their beaks and the sun feast on the morning. The merriment of the heart and the position of displeased men wake up to the sound of bleating sheep and the sound of tractors on the farm rolling in the deep; the temperature rises in the skies and the sweltering heat walking around in jacket and tie disrupt my heart beat, and I said to myself what wrong have I done to be punished by this mystical sun whose passions burns intensely in the east. It is the mystics of the mind and the conditions of the times that set the motions for my homegrown ambition. The sacred sins of the world affix to the center of the universe were the ideal time for me to converse and me occupying a space in it shows me how to rely on the power of time. It is the voice that you hear calling all the time, and the old soul trying to break out of the net, held onto the rail on the stairs going around trying to come out but she kept spinning around and for that split second, I thought I was dreaming, but how could it be when I am standing here writing, strange things happen on Easter Monday. It is snowing in the north and the morning is very dark, everything is dead silent in the town and the dogs have retreated underground, they have made tunnels with laser head and the dogs have created mutiny with the dead, they add to the pressure in the north, and the solar panels on top of the roof were buried in the snow and there was just nowhere to go but live under the burden of the roof. The sun is shining again, and you must listen carefully to my friend; tornado is creating havoc in the town, the roof is gone, and the house is torn apart; they escape the danger in a bathtub in the dark, they held onto each other and lay flat on their faces with their heads down; while the tornado whipped and lashed the entire town. Trees up rooted; building overturned and the utility pole tumble down, dragging live wire on the ground. I have never seen anything like this before, everything was broken in pieces and it was hard to tell from whence it came, dead bodies lay bare on the ground and people were mourning all around, some dressed in their night clothes and the lifeless bodies of the shirtless and shirtless couple lies peacefully hugging in the grass. Everything happened in one split second and there was just to prepare but memory will remember that someone once lived there. Life will never be the same again, they will have to rebuild the town from scratch and let the strangers come in. The sun is shining again.
