Poem
The Naked brazen placid blue Meets its foe the dark forbidding nemeses Who unleashes his growing anger and fury Obliterating and defeating his enemy Proclaims a victory and unrolls his miserable shroud With utter contempt And spews his venom Impregnating his virgin haraam Now expecting His deflowered concubines Grow bigger and heavier Until their waters burst Showering the flooded ground below Casting ovaline glassy silvery opaque globules In profusion splosh and splash As they explode as tiny bombs Upon a relentless air raid Pitter patter Distributing its flow Into small expanding mirrored pools And bleeding artery streams The sodden earth turns to sticky mud and slippery sludge Animals and critters had taken cover The songstress remain silent among lofty trees And fold their wings polished glossy damp leaves The drizzle makes them bob up and down The pungent damp earthy stench permeates The polluted air Steadily the rage of the vengeful victor Cools down His cup spiled and empty Weakens his dominance and prowess The powerful Sun Executes the now vulnerable helpless Victor Consigned to his demise The now beaming slayer The dark shrouding cloak Folded up and thrown away Until war breaks out once more Lberation and transformtion. Suddenly out of the blue The warming smiling sun expands its rays Drys the soddened forsaken ground below Bursts back to life in a blaze of glory The rain has had it's reign The artistic creator God Paints multi ultra coloured arches Peeping through dull grey A reminder about the flood The prolific leaves lose their sheen and gleam The watered flowers open their hearts once more Giving a beautiful vibrant showy display The little mirrors have misted over Their reflection gone And the sundried puddles Just empty cups The chirpy birds unfold their wings once more Leave the shelter of their covert cosy nests Steepleing high on a tendril The birds are now joyous Breakout twitters warbles and trills In celebration with jubilation And appreciation The animals and critters Come out of their hiding places Fluttering tissue paper painted Ladies Dance a midair sweet ballet Shrews and tiny harvest mice Sup drops of rain from Buttercup's Snails with their attached Slither and slide at a steady pace Leaving behind silver trails behind The worms from underground Come up to see what is going on Sleepy Dormice awake Stretch yawn and stretch Within their cosy warm nest The soothing warm tickling breeze Stires the summer adorn frocks Caressed shivering gently To and throw Bluebells ring their bells Daffodils play their trumpets Texas Bluebonnet flowers display their beauty in profusion Vibrant carpets of lush green grassy Bejewelled idle meadows Sweep across valleys steepling tor pleasant boarded pastures and Vale The winding weaving snaking brook River and silver ribbons Of wavering tassels streams Now replenished. Inspired, by my talented poet friends on this site. And one in particular the amazing, talented friend in Texas Texas Bluebonnets are stunning, But don't make me wear one.
