Poem
His miracles are endless… they’re like the sea, with its liquid peace, salty tears, spraying dreams, into the face of the most wistful shadow, brilliant kiss of light’s soft musing, caressing the memories, embracing the lingering gestures a feeling who agrees to be, His gentling grace, His guiding hand, the silent touch of eternity’s sands, whispering beneath the light, falling over the darkest of nights, His miracles are limitless… they’re like the oaks, the pines, the leaves, rustling hopes in winds so still, a breath, a tear, a prayer wonderful that is always there, quiet as joy, but brilliant, overflowing the ache so startling it feels like the downpour, showers of conclusions, endings who partake of the moments, kindling the flames of a promise, when love was more than just a word, love grew like the sound of spring, when it hears that April is coming, the storms who awaken the still, the sun who is clever as the chill who abides beneath winter’s hungry scent, love that is forever intent, on making music from the heart’s discontent. His miracles are never-ending, shadows starving for the tender, brave rhymes in gentling hues, tunes of light, tunes of beautiful, intimate truths, wistful sentiments, breaking through the sprays hesitating grace, blowing in promises who fade, listening to the praise, for the Son who made a way, even though He was betrayed… He made a way, with miracles, strewn in His path, lessons learned, warnings of sins, who would torment and shame, sin who could disgrace, yet, with forgiveness, He saved… Oh, thank God He’s saved, my heart and my soul, my spirit with grace that is amazing, faith that sustains, love that is alive, like the One who poured out His own blood, so we could know the miracles of love, the miracle, the hope… of a destiny with Him, this King of Kings, who sits on the throne, making intercession for His followers, making a way for our hearts to pray, making a home where love is grown, making eternity our destiny, making sure that we will forever be… filled with a love that comes from being with Him, the light of the world, the light of the heart, the light who came down to shine hope into those who simply believe…. He is the Son who we’ll see, when we reach the end and finally, our destiny, where we’ll forever be… with Him, our Redeemer, the One who forgave us and saved us, so we’d finally see… the love that made us!
