Poem
You will advance against my people like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, O Gog, I will bring you against my land, Q: Why is the Sovereign LORD going to bring Gog against his land? Ezekiel 38:16 A: He is bringing Gog against His land, so that the nations may know me when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. Q: Is Gog the one of whom He spoke about through the prophets in the ancient days? A: "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Are you not the one I spoke of, in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel? At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. Ezekiel 38:17 Q: How is the Sovereign LORD going to bring judgement immediately against Gog? Ezekiel 38:18 A: This is what will happen on that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused against them, declares the Sovereign LORD. Q: What shall He do against Gog in His zeal and in His wrath? Ezekiel 38:19 A: In my zeal and fiery wrath I shall declare at that time there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. Q: What events will immediately transpire in the land of Israel due to the great earth quake? Ezekiel 38:19 A: The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all of the people upon the face of the earth shall tremble at my presence. The mountains will be over turned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. Ezekiel 38:20 Q: After the great earthquake mentioned in Ezekiel in verse 20, what shall the next judgment of the Sovereign Lord of Israel be? A: I will summon a great sword against Gog on my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man's sword will be against his brother. Ezekiel 38:20 Q: Each new judgment mentioned further intensifies His wrath what shall the next sequential chain of events be occurring next? Ezekiel 38:21 A: I will execute judgment against him with plagues and bloodshed; I shall pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and the many nations with him. Ezekiel 38:22 Q: What shall this accomplish? Ezekiel 38:23 A: And so I shall show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations.
