Poem
I lay bare on the burden of time, scraping away the residue that is stuck on my mind, the fear of yesterday had gone away and I am on my way to start a brand day. My vision is clear, my mind is stable, but the direction made me feel uncomfortable. This is the final move I am planning to make and once I move, I will never look back at the gate. I cherish living my life alone and I want to move away from the burden in this promiscuous town. They have drained my spiritual energy and continue to mess with my dignity; I have to overcome one final obstacle to make this move a reality. I looked at the haze of the morning rising slowly from the hill and the sunflowers buried in saturated dreams slowly opening their petals. Thousands of them stood up like soldiers in the battlefield standing at attention to the sun. Its rays sparkled through the trees and spread all over in the breeze and a serenade of hope transfigured my soul. I felt a zeal that I have never felt before, the skies burst open, and the birds’ starts landing in the open space hundreds of birds with similar mission speaking the same language and singing the same song. They looked penitently at me and bow their heads and said, “thank you” for one brief moment, I thought the universe was dead and I searched long and hard for the rhythm to compensate for their mortal sins and I dig deep beneath the earth and pull up the skirt that was hidden underneath and dirt and courage replace what was rightfully mine. They slowly walked away, and I felt an arm around me and whispers coming from the trees and the sun rays sparkling all over me. I was led into a silent passion, and I felt sudden warmth spreading over my body, and sweat was dripping from my face, I looked around, but no one was there, it like the gods had signed a decree. I have had several of these encounters while I was living in America because I am loner. Everywhere I go the sun is always shining and during the coldest winter the sun comes out and melt the ice that is built up at the door. One day I was meditating by the stream in the American Park, everything was still and there was nothing around me except for trees and bushes and I sat on the rock and stare through the trees that hang over the stream I was looking for something in the distance. Everything was so serene, and the universe was so clean and all of a sudden, the sun rays break through the trees and consume my body and three reindeers appears out of nowhere and stood on the rock in the stream; they drank water and went back in the bushes. I got up and walked towards them and searched everywhere but they disappeared. There is magic in the sun and destiny is on the run, this thing has stolen my puberty and deprived me of my virginity. Let the light shine through my soul take my hands and make me bold the complete story will be told when you journey with me to the sea and wash away the residue; you will know everything about me when you reach out and touch me. Remove the final obstacle and journey with me.
