Saw the 'Windswept Man' on Market Street
The scene wrapped up in reggae sounds
Moments became magical
Existence happened briefly, I felt there
As a student I'd walk that street daily
If I cut across town my bus was 20 minutes quicker
At one point I worked at the other end of the street
I rarely go now
But my daughter said...
"Is it too late to go into town and get a waffle cone"
And I said...
"Let's go"
It's sensorially full on
Every few steps smells different
Mostly unpleasant
(Apart from a sweet corn cart I refuse to buy from)
There were free Magnum's at the station
Dress sense was anything goes
Couples seem to emanate dynamics
You can step into worlds of light and dark
As each shop creates it's vibe
We saw a candyfloss machine creating flowers
I wanted more from being back
But my existence was fleeting
And after it was over I felt quietly out of place
I can't suppose an answer to that...
We're out again today
I must look out for myself 
See if I'm there
Some kind of smelling salts
Created from energy
And the history of my own footsteps
Bringing me round
