Poem
Take me to where the wildflowers grow and show me where to go, take me to where the wildflowers grow and wet my soul with the dew of the morning, wake up my spirit at noon and drench me with the moisture from the east and fill my lungs with succulents' juice from the west and adorn me in your cultural best. I stand at the hills of time and look beyond the mountain of the divine, the wind is raging beyond the sea, and I am writing a love letter for thee. I have to pause awhile and let the wisdom of my heart abide. When you are twenty, they speak of butterfly in the stomach but when you reach forty, I speak of tension in the gut and when you are over forty, they say that passion grows in your belly. The heart contains a likening for thee, but many people cannot see, they make up all kind of ridiculous stories of how heaven is filled with glory, but nothing is there except clouds and moving air, and extreme atmospheric pressure up there. We have met under peculiar circumstances when the universe was absorbing fresh air and harmony was riding in the sun. The camera was pointing exactly at you, and it told you what to do, I didn’t know that it was part of the scene and the most significant aspect of the dream. Your head was resting on the table and your eyes met briefly with mine behind the camera lenses and that brief moment, I felt the passion in my gut, and I was sweating all over when you said, “come and live with me”. Everything in my world changed and for that moment my world turned upside down when I saw the couple standing beside you kissed in front of the crowd. You looked embarrassed and held down your head and for one moment I thought you were brain dead that frown on your face gave way everything. I couldn’t figure out the other person beside you until the vision came through. I know that life would ever be the same, but some people took it for a game. The passion in the gut can make you stuck, you cannot go backward or forward, and your only way out is to wait on the right timing to bolt through the gate. You kept ignoring my feelings and insulting my morning because you take my love for granted and you compose these ridiculous games that are driving the people insane. Every time I try to make a move, I heard that I am going nowhere, and my morning suddenly turn to evenings, and it left my heart bleeding, stuck with love burning inside and the dragon hold me captive by its side. It's where Spring grows and where the daffodils smiles, Id’ hope that you call me or come directly to see me, Christmas submerge into snow and Thanksgiving become a woodland in the wilderness and the passion in my gut is running a marathon for three year and you never came. You spy on me every day hoping that I will never go away, but I have to seek solace for my soul before I grow old. I can feel your energy every day and I hope that you will come someday. I lobby for you everywhere I go, and watch the holidays come and go but you never come and so we cannot compose that that imaginary love song. The fire is in my heels, and I have that special zeal. The passion is welled up in my gut and the universe has given you a second chance to do that magnificent dance it’s time to launch, just call me.
