"In your anger do not sin. " Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27. It doesn't pay to remain angry with your brothers and your sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of the light. Ephesians 4:8 Forgive us our debts as we have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. Mathew 6:12-13 If we want God to forgive us of our sins? First, we must be willing to forgive others their sins against us. Without it we can't expect our Lord to forgive us! We should all follow the Godly example of the believers in Thessalonians. The Apostle Paul received a good report of them via messengers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The tell us how you have turned to God from idols to serve the living and the true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead-- Jesus who rescues us from the coming wrath. ! Thessalonians 1:9. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Come near to God, and he will come near to you. James 4:7-8. Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up. James 4:10 Do Not Love the World Do not love the world nor anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful men, the lust of his eyes, and the boasting, of what he has and what he does--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and it's desires pass away, but the man [or the woman] who does the will of God, abides forever. 1 John 2: 15. The world does pass away but the word of God does abide forever. Just like all of those, who do the will of God by freely abiding, in his will. Do also abides with him forever more; according to the holy Scriptures and the promises of God.
