Poem

I can only imagine how wonderful tomorrow
will be: being illuminated with the sunrise's blissful light;
I'm breathing a promising new life without strife,
I look above making myself this solemn promise:
to live all day and accept them without feeling low,
with no uncertainties on this mind seeking pure delight!

I'm worrying much less,
letting this prophecy pass;
it's not fate that limits my ability
to plan things and take on challenges:
there's no fear in me, I've overcome anxiety
and be where I should be...thinking wisely!

I can only envision a future built on concrete reality,
not reading horoscopes that reveal many fears, 
or a sadness deeply felt through a painful tragedy;
no wish is greater than mine to make final amends
and be at peace with myself despite the high winds
that set ablaze dreams that are as fragile as sand castles!

I'm worrying much less, showing no distress;
I'm planning a strategy, not throwing the dice
and not remembering a hopeless past! gloomy skies
are beginning to smile with brilliant sunshine,
pretty flowers are a joy to smell: beautiful butterflies
swirl around me longing for a tender caress!

I'm finally getting rid of pain and distress!
