Poem
In the secret places Of my heart, Little breaths erase the whispers, Lingering like softest inspirations, Listening to my beating, rhythmic Echoes, freedoms Moments just like dewlike dreams, Falling softly on the edges Of shadows, Where there live silhouettes Confiding in the mysteries, Reasons bound up in affection, Passions and recollections, Inviting the sweetness of a soul, Who hopes, who believes, who knows… It has always been, will always be, his quiet embrace, his somber grace, the expression on his face, remembering, revealing, restoring all the prayers, seeds of faith who breathes, deeply peace that grows, like silent grief – yet it aches, for the music in hues of quiet light, reflecting the dance, swirling through the heart who can see past yesterday, into the abiding beauties, forever is like the wind, sighing through the skies, erasing destinies, with the passion, bold and wild, yearning for the everlasting truth who speaks, like a promise – he sees, he is my dream, yet, he lives – reality, alive, surviving my night. Wherever I go, there he is, Wandering through the spirit, Brilliant truths, Hanging on the edges of a kiss, Embracing my feelings With a tenderness that only he gives, Affections bound up in unique, One of a kind gifts, Endless seas of laughter, Promises, praise, pleasure When I felt like he was leaving, There he was – handsome, And weaving together my fears, So I could sing of brave joys, Living beyond the darkness, Storms woven into the hindsight, Revealing the reasons, Soothing the seasons, Realizing that he is my life – With him, there is no more fear, His heart hangs the moon, With its gentle, Teases awake the starlight, Erases the sorrows, Murmurs joy into the shadows, Reminds me that I am – Who I am, Someone who loves, Without ever looking back, Someone who loves, Beyond myself – with a heart Who listens, who hears, Not just the words, but the pictures, The heart and the soul, The breath of one who grows… Inside where I never hide, Behind the past, the shadows, The risk… never looking back, He is like the moment, Just before I felt the freedom of grace, He is – a sensation, a light, A caress.. he is the one who stirs feelings, Just like I’ve always expected, When I looked at the way the moments Fade so fast, leaving the dew dripping, Over roses who hold petals, Soaked in sunlight’s best smiles, With him, I’m free to walk miles and miles. On and on, forever – in just a while, Miles and miles – yes, miles and miles, Love to last a while!
