Poem
I don’t want you to go I want to be free from woe Know I care for you though Reap what you sow Reap what you sow… Sowing what I reap I keep on wanting to weep I’m crying like you want me to I don’t want you to abuse me once more You don’t know what I have been through I just want to be no longer sore And soar… And soar… I don’t want you to… I don’t want you to… Can’t escape your lovin Where have you been? Where have you been? We were swinging in the park You were singing like my lark You were devouring me like a shark Devouted to you like Noah’s ark… Where have you gone? Where have you gone? I want to move on, love of mine I want to be your hon; just give me a sign Ludicrous and ridiculous people Keep telling me I’m a lost cause Wondrous and precious people Keep telling me I don’t want you to grow…but you’re like a flower on pause I am better without you near for years Can’t bear my childish fears I have shed these thousand terrible tears Read my lips — just go… Get a grip — you know? Sowing what I reap I keep on wanting to weep I’m crying like you want me to I don’t want you to abuse me once more You don’t know what I have been through I just want to be no longer sore And soar… And soar… I don’t want you to… I don’t want you to… Can’t escape your lovin Where have you been? Where have you been? We were swinging in the park You were singing like my lark You were devouring me like a shark Devouted to you like Noah’s ark… Where have you gone? Where have you gone? I want to move on, love of mine I want to be your hon; just give me a sign Ludicrous and ridiculous people Keep telling me I’m a lost cause Wondrous and precious people Keep telling me I don’t want you to grow…but you’re like a flower on pause Afraid to be too miserable to go on… Afraid to be too late to move on… Shun out the beautiful dark, You lovely lark in the park Sing and let me be A bird so damn free You scared me, but I’m brought to life You can’t free the thoughts of strife Happy to be yours, your soul ignores Sad to be the ultimate change — A hundred challenging chores That makes me still look strange… I don’t want you to go I want to be free from woe Know I care for you though I don’t want you to go I want to be free from woe Know I care for you though I don’t want you to go I want to be free from woe Know I care for you though… Show me a way out of this predicament I don’t want you to abuse me once more You don’t know what I have been through in discouragement I just want to be no longer sore to the core And soar… And soar… We were swinging in the park You were singing like my lark You were devouring me like a shark Devouted to you like Noah’s ark… Where have you gone? Where have you gone? I want to move on, love of mine I want to be your hon; just give me a sign I don’t want you to abuse me once more I don’t want to fall in love with you anymore You hurt me so much to the core You’re an attention %}^{ and more…
