This current swatting hoax is of interest to me,
as I experienced it once unfortunately.
In the spring of 2014 while doing chores there
suddenly was a great police presence at my front
door.

I came out in my yard, my shoulders I shrugged,
certain this was in error, a communication bug..
A false paper trail, the Bowie police inept,
could have caused me injury or even my death.
Another persons mental health was out of control
and I was the one who paid the toll.
Various levels of police didn't communicate, there
was history in my 911 calls for goodness sake.
I told myself to stay calm and ask why.
How could their communications have gone so awry?!"
Some of the swat team was nice that I met.
The smarter officers realized I posed no threat.
An unarmed sixty-four year old woman in her front yard.
Too much extra drama for this want a be bard!
Once the officers realized I wasn't a threat, the swat team
disassembled and abruptly left.
It's now the year 2024 and several politicians
are being greeted with swat teams at their door.
This waste of resources. This political ruse is also
a form of police abuse.
Before more citizens have swat teams descend on their place,
the levels of police must communicate.
It's a national disgrace..
