Poem
To my life that betrayed the butterflies~ within my chrysalis mind, forgive my flawed dialect, I no longer look upon sakura skies, awaiting a ray of fluffy lies, I’m more than just a speck of salt in this ocean of fluttering deceit. As the midnight silence twists into witching woes, I hear the sirens echoing the sound of the seventh trumpet, yet my igloo heart screeches louder than the roaring waves pushing me to the cusp of an inevitable apocalypse. When raindrop dreams I drape on my distressed skin; a white gold necklace with heart-shaped sapphires~ shatter into a shadowed sea of broken emeralds, I think of life beyond and above heavy onyx clouds carrying unspoken prayers, wishing an archangel would descend, wrap me in ivory wings, take me to a pristine shore, where I can rewrite sins scribbled across pages of procrastination, in an anthology of ignorance. Perhaps, I could be the voice for the forsaken faces, and forgotten phases. I remember I’ve stayed still~ frozen like the frigid waters, shackled by society’s ice green arrogance, oblivious to the pleas of the innocent. Now I weep, while rolling memories, haunt me in neon refrains, I’m swimming across titanic seas, like a lost sojourner, seeking for a glimpse of the floral milky-way to fill my drowning heart with lunar light, to be the Noah that ignites my ark of fire. But life is a pre-written cruise, orchestrated by the divine creator, and tides, they rage and rise, to fall into flatlined ripples of regrets, unfurling footprints of past journeys, amidst crestfallen stars beneath crystalline currents of chaos. I’ve learned through the beginning of this end~ a prelude to an empyrean symphony, that destiny has a way of dressing salt-soaked silhouettes with an attire of angst And I think of the jewels, the twinkling trinkets that couldn’t keep me afloat, the silk that couldn’t be my anchor nor the vessel that guides me home. Although life after this temporary madness, is a coral garden of ethereal gravity. There I shall build my marine tales a paddle raft, let it glide towards a rising sun of saffron that never sets, like timeless reefs~ I can slumber within the cerulean arms of serenity, as I fare thee well. Even the grandest of all the vessels shall come to an infinite halt, the master of this fleeting journey is the almighty above, so when the end comes crawling, surrender to the elysian light beyond~ allow the angels to guide us back to a halcyon realm of rose gold eternity.
