Poem
I once was a sea lavender star, soaked in sunsets, draping evenings with soft yarns of hydrangea haze ~ before you stole me from those sangria skylines like a windswept wave, and placed my hyacinth heart upon the tan throne of your verbena soul. Never did I dream, that those lunar fogs, lulling me with fairytales of fondness, would trace my daisy-cheeks like black-pearled tears of cherry rain, bleeding in redemption. In our ambrosial era, hued with mad honey, I dared to blossom in your solemn field of scars, but, regrets flowered ~ unfurling moist mistakes like perfumed buds, drenched in an unforgetful ode. Weaving mauve mists across midnight, like a silent curse, I now drown in a halcyon of hopes and clench to those crimson willows of woe, for, peaceful winterberries have begun to taste like the blood moon. Would you ever wonder, how must this Persephone shall feel whilst floating in our decaying lake of ardour? Are these promises, nothing but rotten thistles, knitting a pomegranate- pillow of gold roses, where each ruby petal smells like hemlock? This love is the only truth - pumping lifelines, which I could ever call mine; my spirit will abandon these crestfallen lips, if they forget to give wings to the duskiness of your forlorn name. A feral fog has risen along the periphery that parted you from me, and I yearn to ask ~ am I just a mispelled phrase in your jasmine- oiled pages? How did we become those two distant seashores, with not an edenic tide of milky quartz to unite us? I will fall for you, head over heels ~ evermore, chaining myself with ferns and folklores, as, perhaps Cupid's raspberry arrow has enchanted this Psyche, and I can never disown this firefly emotion, enclosed in your embellished embrace, even if our moments were a twilight mirage, caged in those cacophonous crystals of two forbidden diamonds. "I breathe in a f i r e, that y e a r n s to rise in fury, as crawls of solace turn to f l a m e s, burning every thread tying us, yet, your w i s t f u l fingerprints trailing darkness, lace this skin with s m o k y shivers, leading me to you, in an everglow for, if I leave you ~ then, those exotic heavens will f a d e from my eyes..."
