Poem
It’s never too late to cut a slice of cake and walk through that deceptive gate and leave everything behind and take a journey with the divine. It is never too late to part with friends, family, partner and company and start a new life with a new name in a new place with strangers. I am convinced that you will be happy at another place. I have seen how the multitudes have used you, and how your family abused you, they don’t care a dam about you, they have held you back to buy their pants and frock, to keep their story afloat and you are paying a painful sacrifice in the big old dirty boat. They have worked with the bad cops in the town just for a pillow and a gown to keep you down in the promiscuous town, they have stolen so much from you that the universe is now crying out for you, but the sky birds will come just on time to rescue you. Just take a look around, can’t you see that the deal has fallen through, death and destruction lurk around and everyday a vigil is marching through the street with a message that is deep. Look at the way they treat you, they don’t care a damn about you, they have been using you for decades to full up their guts and sustain their fiery bed. My spirit grieves when I look at you and I just pray that your dreams will come through, when you came to this town, you were healthy and good, and your kindred spirit swept everyone off their feet; they have made enough money off you, but they still continue to mess with you. Look at your physical appearance, your hair is unkempt, and the mosquitoes are sucking your blood and feeding off your flesh; you have a familiar body order that perfumed the entire town and when they pass by you their body began to shake and blaze. You don’t drink and you don’t smoke, you don’t take drugs or sleep over, you are always standing in that space working every day. Despite the terrible treatment you are focused and fit and you have not gone to the gym. When last have you been to the dentist? Your oral health is deteriorating and the cavity in your mouth has borne hole in your subtle grin, and when they come in contact you, they hold their breath when they converse with you. I heard that they hit you in your right eye and you need some attention before the pupil dies. They have used the people before you and have drained the oil well dry, they have murdered the weak and vulnerable, and I have watched the innocent slowly die. I have watched them battered to and from until they had no place to go, they gave up hope and kick the bucket and sank beneath the ground. And the other ones over there, the last thing I heard of them is that the cares of life and bad treatment have done them in. Christmas has come and gone leaving you suffering on the lawn, the New Year has come too and not a penny to buy a brand-new pair of shoes, your cloths have turned to rag, and your courage is packed into a bag, hope is trampled into the ground, and everyone is homeward bound, and nature will flood and shake the entire ground for what they did to you.
